Community Oven by Red Clay Construction
We built a wood-fired oven in the student cafeteria at Mount Allison University in Sackville, New Brunswick.
The oven is built in the vaulted-arch style demonstrated by Pat Manley of Washington, ME, at many of the MHA workshops at Wildacres, NC.
The plan was for our company to build the oven and clad it in copper except for the upper front face.
Mosaic tile artist Kath Rutherford of Musquodoboit harbour, NS, then applied her stunning fire-breathing dragon tiles
