Subject: for our friends

Dear friends,

All the employees of our company joint me to send you this message.

We are all choked by the information we have received from the United States yesterday evening.

We have been following the terrible events on TV till late last night.

We would like to tell you how much we are sharing your pain and distress.

Be sure of our support in that very sensitive moment.

We pray for the people that were touched by this catastrophe, for their relatives, their friends and for your whole nation.

Warm regards

Subject Your thoughts

We have received three messages from Europe extending deep caring for the

disaster in NYC and Washington. There is not a lot that will help those

missing and injured except it is good to know that you

care enough to write. Our son, Tim, began his first day of work with

Enron Wind of Tehachapi, CA and an evening dinner meeting of staff

involved with marketing wind power equipment was darkened since their East

coast representative based in Boston was in one of the planes. We have not

heard more. I'm sure that sort of event can be

repeated around the country. All the worse when one thinks it could have

been any one of many other large Western cities. Thank you all again.

Bill and Ginny Derrick
